*(1) .AERO can be registered exclusively by companies in the aviation business.

*(2) Please notice that .FM domain authority have Premium domain names, these domain names have an additional cost. We will inform you after the domain is requested if your domain is categorized Premium or not and how much the additional cost will be. Please notice that usually generic domain names and also short terms are categorized as Premium.

*(3) Personal registrations are not allowed. Registrations in .jobs can only be for your "company name", which means your legal or commonly known business name, or at least must include that name. For example, if you are American Family Life Assurance Company, you may register AmericanFamilyLife.jobs, AmericanFamilyLifeAssurance.jobs, AmericanFamilyLifeAssuranceCompany.jobs, AFLAC.jobs, AFLAC-California.jobs, AFLAC-Agents.jobs, etc.

*(4) There are no requirements to register a .mobi, although in order to keep it you must comply with the rules as specified at http://mtld.mobi/domain/policies/compliance. This rules objective is to make sure that the content of the domain is designed to be viewed from mobile phones.

*(5) A .name domain must be submitted in one of these formats:
firstname.lastname.name or lastname.firstname.name
You are allowed to use initials or nicknames instead of first names

*(6) TRAVEL can be registered if your entitiy belongs to one fo the following Travel Sectors: Airlines Attractions/Theme Parks Bed & Breakfast Houses Bus/Taxi/Limousine Operators Camp Facility Operators Vehicle Rental Companies/Airport Specialty Car Park Companies Computer Reservation/Travel Technology Provider Convention & Visitor's Bureaus Cruise Lines Ferries Hotels/Resorts/Casinos National Tourism Offices Passenger Rail Lines Restaurants Tour Operators Travel Agents Travel Media Travel-Consumer and Market Research Organizations You will have to provide a UIN number (this is a code that is provided to travel agencies as well as members of the tourism industry upon their membership)

*(1) - Only entities that have residence or nationality from Canada can register .ca domain names.

- In case that you don’t meet the previous requirement, you still can register a .ca domain name if you own a Registered Trademark in Canada. (You can check the cost of this in our website in the section Trademarks > Canada)

*(1) - Any company with residence in Aruba can register .aw domain names.

- If your company does not meet the residence requirement, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives in Aruba and make it available to you; this alternative would have no additional charge.

*(2) - Any person/company with residence in Barbados can register .bb domain names.

- If your company does not meet the residence requirement, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives in Barbados and make it available to you; this alternative would have no additional charge. If you choose this alternative after registration we will send you a Certificate of ownership.

*(3) For .CO.CR there are no requirements

All current .CO.CR domain name holders will have 90 calendar days counting from March 3, 2008 to reserve the equivalent .CR domain name, if they so wish. After this period, those domain names that are not registered will be available for registration for any other interested party.

On the other hand, if two or more current holders should have the same name under different categories (.co.cr, .ac.cr, .ed.cr, etc.), the .CR domain name will be allocated to whoever fist applies and meets the registration requirements.

*(4) The Domain must reflect a common law or registered trademark of the company, and does not infringe a known trademark of another company.

*(5) The owner must be a company (from any country), also the term that needs to be registered should match the name of the company owner of the domain name.

*(6) - .COM.PA must be ordered by companies, it could be a national or foreign company.

*(7) Client will need to send us a signed Power of Attorney (we would provide model)

(8) Please notice that in this country an identity trademark Search before the Cuban Trademark Office is required. The cost of identity trademark Search is included when you pay for the .CU domain name. The Identity trademark search takes around 2 weeks; the whole process of .CU domain takes around 4 weeks. If an Identical trademark is found, we will refund the full amount paid less the cost of identity trademark search that we must perform in Cuba (USD 100). Owner must be a company, individuals are not accepted.

*(1) - Any company with residence in Brazil can register .com.br domain names.

- If your company does not meet the residence requirement, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives in Brazil and make it available to you; this alternative would have no additional charge. If you choose this alternative after registration we will send you a Certificate of ownership. Please notice that gaming and offensive domain names are not accepted by authority.

*(2) -Owner must be a company, individuals are not accepted.

-Owner must have a trademark matching the domain name; trademark can be applied/registered in any country. If you don’t have a trademark we are able to apply one for USD 250 in order to meet this requirement.

-Client will also need to provide a signed Power of Attorney (we would provide model) that should come authenticated by Apostille and copy of incorporation certificate.

-Documentation can be sent by FAX.

*(3) -The owner must be a company and not an individual.

*(1) -In order to register a .AD domain name, you must have a trademark registration in Andorra. Trademark must match the domain you wish to register.

*(2) For .BA domain names a simple Power of Attorney is required, model will be sent after the domain has been requested in our website. A copy of an extract from the Register of Companies showing that this company is a true legal entity is also needed.

*(3) In order to register a .BG domain, you need to have a trademark application/registration in Bulgaria or in the European Union (Community Trademark). If you do not have a trademark can do the following:
1) File a preliminary Trademark search in order to assure that no such mark is registered in Bulgaria, it has an additional cost of USD 160. A copy form the search result should be attached to the domain name application.
2) File a trademark application for the same mark and a copy of it to be attached, too. The domain will be registered under condition that the mark will be registered in future. -The owner of the domain must be a company.

*(4) The owner must be a company. Also owner must have at least one trademark with the term that needs to be registered.

*(5) - Owner of domain name must be a company that has a trademark already registered in Albania, or if the trademark is registered internationally, according to the Madrid Agreement, a notarized copy of the certificate of the international registration is necessary; the international registration must specify Albania as a designated country. The alternative to the notarized copy of the certificate of the international registration is a register extract of the internationally registered trademark issued from the Albanian Patent and Trademark Office (ALPTO)., plus, the name of the domain should match exactly the trademark.

-Client will also need to send a notarized copy of the incorporation certificate of the company(with an English translation).

Documents should be sent by FAX or scanned by email.

*(6) Any company or individual from Cyprus can register .com.cy domain names. Only one domain is allowed by person. If it is an individual you must send us a copy of your identity card or passport. If it is an organization you must send us a copy of the registration certificate or a letter with the company's or organization's trademark logo requesting the domain name.

Please notice that .com.cy domain must be renewed on December 31st of every year, as an example if you request your domain on September 2008, you will have to renew it on December 31st 2008.

*(7) Any company with residence in Macedonia can register .com.mk domain names. If your company does not meet the residence requirement, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives in Macedonia and make it available to you; this alternative would have no additional charge. In order to register a .mk domain you need to ask for permission to the owner of the .com.mk or .org.mk domain, in case they are not registered you can request them straightaway.

*(8) -For .COM.UA domain registration, there are no requirements.

-For .UA, domain authority request a trademark from Ukraine or a trademark registered under the Madrid agreement that covers Ukraine.

*(9) .EU domain names are restricted to:

EU Citizen or EU Company or EU Organization.

*(10) -In order to register a .FI domain name, you must have a trademark registration or a trademark application in Finland or in the European Union (Community Trademark). Trademark must match the domain you wish to register.

-If you are not able to meet this requirement, we can file a trademark application in Finland for an additional cost of USD 480. Please notice that as soon as you have a trademark application we would be able to file your domain registration. Please notice though that if the domain that you want to register is similar to an already registered trademark, then your trademark can be rejected and your domain may be disabled by authority. Trademark registration process in Finland takes around 5 months, only after the trademark is registered your domain name will be secured. .

*(11) - FR: Domain must belong to a french company name or to the holder of a French trademark. If you cannot fulfill this requirement, we can help you registering your company/trademark in France, or we can proceed with registration to the name of our representatives in France and then make the domain available to you.
